2026 Giving Day is here and The Salvation Army New River Valley is excited to be a part of it. The Salvation Army begin in 1865 and since then has been a beacon of Hope and Light to the communities in which it serves. The Salvation Army New River Valley values the individuals who walk into our doors and gives them a sense of hope and belonging. For Giving Day 2026, we are raising funds for utility assistance to our neighbors in need as well as funding for our Soup Kitchen and Food Box Program. We serve over 300 meals monthly and give out 30 food boxes monthly. We are calling for you to come along side us and help support those here in the New River Valley.
