Giving Day 2026!

It is no surprise the cost of owning an animal has gone up EXPONENTIALLY in the last few years. Between food, vaccines, surprise trips to the emergency vet- owning a pet has practically become a luxury.. With that being said, for Giving Day 2026, we are asking for donations to support our mission of making adoption fees more realistic in this economy! 

Each dollar donated will go towards partially or fully covering the adoption fee of an animal- making their price more achievable for the average person. 

While we understand $150+ to adopt a new furry friend is A LOT. We DO NOT pull those numbers out of thin air. Inflation has hit veterinary offices HARD.. even the ones we partner with who give us a discount..

As it stands right now, and we have already been notified these numbers will increase next month:

-Canine spay- $110

-Canine neuter- $100

-Feline spay- $95

-Feline neuter- $85

Every vaccine, including the mandatory Rabie vaccine is $20 EACH.

As a nonprofit, municipal shelter, we have a $20 adoption fee that is added to each animal- and that is simply used to go towards the supplies it takes to house an animal while they are in our care. Every dollar after that goes to vet bills!

If you'd like for your donation to go towards a specific species, breed, age, etc. PLEASE make sure to mention it in the "dedication" portion. :)
