The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia (BGCSWVA) has been a cornerstone of youth development in our region for over 25 years, positively impacting the lives of over 20,000 young people. As part of the national Boys & Girls Clubs of America network, we're dedicated to providing safe, nurturing environments that foster academic success, healthy lifestyles, good character, and life & workforce readiness.

We're proud to serve the New River Valley through our four Montgomery County Clubs: Eastern Montgomery Elementary, Christiansburg Middle, Shawsville Middle, and Eastern Montgomery High School. This year, our GiveLocalNRV campaign is focused on supporting our summer camp at the Eastern Montgomery Elementary School Club!   

Imagine a summer where kids in Eastern Montgomery have access to a safe, fun, and enriching experience, right in their own community. That's what we provide! Our summer camp at Eastern Montgomery Elementary offers a vital service:   

• Healthy Meals: We provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks, ensuring kids get the nutrition they need to thrive.   
• Learning with a Twist: We incorporate educational activities to prevent summer learning loss, but we make it fun! Think hands-on science, creative arts, and reading adventures.
• Experiential Fun: Campers get to explore new interests through field trips, outdoor activities, and special programs that spark their curiosity and get them moving.
• Positive Mentorship: Our caring staff provides guidance and support, helping kids build confidence and develop important life skills.
