About Us

The Blacksburg Master Chorale is excited to be in its 36th year of performing live choral music in the New River Valley. Here’s a sneak peek at our plans for the first half of the 2023-24 season. We will be joined by our own Blacksburg Children's Chorale on October 28 for a celebration of works by African-American composers. It's sure to be a crowd pleaser! On December 17, we return to the Moss Arts Center stage to present Handel's Messiah in all its glorious beauty.  Our popular fundraiser for the Interfaith Food Pantry, the Holiday Sing-Along, with lots of fun audience participation, will be held in early December to ring in the season! Check out our Facebook and Instagram pages for updates throughout the coming year.

Behind the scenes of all great performances is a myriad of working parts that include the skilled preparation of paid professionals, little known but necessary operational expenses, and countless volunteer hours. This year we hope to raise $5000 through the Give Local campaign to undergird our plans for another wonderful season of song.  Any size donation is greatly appreciated.  If you love choral music and you want to hear it continue to thrive in the New River Valley, make a gift to the Blacksburg Master Chorale today!

 Thank you!!
