Blacksburg Community Band

A Musical Experience for Everyone

The Blacksburg Community Band is excited to be together for our 35th season under the leadership of our new Director, Dr. Emmett O’Leary. From a small group of dedicated founding members in 1989, the Band has now grown to almost 100 performing musicians. We rely on supporters like you to allow us to present free concerts to our regional audience. 

The Blacksburg Community Band hopes to raise $7,500 to support our efforts to purchase much needed performance equipment, which includes percussion instruments, upgraded PA equipment, and new music for our music library.

The Blacksburg Community Band is a 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer community organization and there are no dues or fees to participate. More than ever, we rely on supporters like you to allow us to present free concerts to our regional audience. Any size donation is greatly appreciated! Thank you for your continued support.
