Help Havenwood Equestrian Center Change Lives Through Horses

At Havenwood Equestrian Center, horses become a bridge to confidence, responsibility, academic growth, and hope for economically disadvantaged teens in our community. Our students come to us facing academic challenges, social pressures, anxiety, and difficult life circumstances. Through weekly horseback riding lessons, mentorship, horse care, teamwork, and academic support, they begin to discover strengths they didn’t know they had.

When we asked students how the program has impacted them, their words say it best:

Your gift provides far more than riding lessons. You are helping teens build confidence, resilience, responsibility, healthy relationships, and belief in their future.

What Your Gift Can Do

• $40 provides one riding lesson for a student
• $150 supports about one month of weekly lessons
• $400 sends one student to a full week of Havenwood summer camp
• $1,500 supports one student for an entire school year of after-school programming
• $2,000 provides a full year of Havenwood programming, including summer camp

Our Goal: $6,000

This year, we are working toward an exciting next step: adding a second day of programming so we can serve even more teens in our community. Expanding to an additional program day would eventually allow us to double the number of students we can support.

To help make this sustainable long-term, we are especially encouraging monthly giving during this year’s Give Local NRV campaign. Even small recurring gifts make a huge difference:
• $15/month helps provide snacks and supplies
• $40/month sponsors one lesson every month
• $125/month helps support a student for the school year

And thanks to matching gifts from supporters the first $1,000 donated starting June 1 will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
