Mission: The Foundation supports the RHEC and its partner institutions through fundraising and resource development to meet the evolving demands of our region’s diverse workforce through education, training, student services, and lifelong learning programs.

Vision: To strengthen the region’s economy by supporting access to education and training that empowers the region’s workforce and improves the quality of life.

Fundraising Priorities:

Program Initiatives: 

• Provide funding to develop and offer new programs that align with regional workforce needs.

Student Support:

• Connect learning resources and services to ensure students achieve their goals.

Scholarships:

• Create tuition assistance to establish opportunities for learners to complete programs at the Roanoke Higher Education Center.

Foundation Operations:

• Support the daily operations of the RHEC Foundation according to the areas of greatest need.
