United Way of the New River Valley

The United Way of the New River Valley fights for the education, financial stability, and basic needs of every person in our community.  Through our direct programs and partner agencies, almost 17,000 people were served in the last year. In July of 2022, we held our annual Stuff the Bus program. The United Way NRV provided  backpacks full of school supplies for 810 children, an increase of 245 backpacks from last year. Our direct programs also include an Emergency Diaper Pantry, Emergency Food Pantry, Holiday Meal Boxes, and Elves United. 

We do all this with your help. You are the change makers, the heroes. You have the power to change someone's story today. Your donation will provide food, shelter, and health and intervention services for your friends and neighbors in the NRV.
