I first got involved with the Calfee Community & Cultural Center as an intern. Since then, this project has become a meaningful part of my life — and it’s been incredible to grow alongside the Center, eventually serving on the Board of Directors.
Right now, our Board is coming together to raise funds through the GiveLocalNRV campaign, and our focus is to support one of the Center’s most powerful projects — the upcoming “Quiet Courage” exhibit.
This exhibit will highlight the bravery of local civil rights leaders who fought for equal access right here in Pulaski County. These are the kinds of stories that deserve to be preserved, honored, and shared — and your support will help make that happen.
