Agape Center NRV’s Getting Ahead Life Skills class

“Getting Ahead in a Just Gettin’ By World” is offered once a year to clients that have been selected through an application process. It is a 14-session program that offers tools and teaches principles and skills, along with spiritual direction to help improve lives.  In each class, students will: 

• Take a hard, objective, analytical look at their lives now 
• Learn about principles and tools to help change their lives
• Thoughtfully create a picture of what each student would like their future story to look like
• Create a detailed plan and build resources to enable them and their families to Get Ahead

We invite the NRV community to help us fund and support the Getting Ahead life skills class that we are bringing to the Agape Center NRV for the first time. Meeting our goal of $15,000 will enable us to accommodate 30 students and supply them with the Getting Ahead curriculum and classroom materials for a “school year”. At the conclusion of the course, there is a graduation ceremony, where students and their families can come together and celebrate the accomplishments of the Getting Ahead graduates.
