50 miles on the New River for the Conservancy

The New River is my favorite place to go to unwind, relax and enjoy nature.  I love to kayak and tube the river.  I invite family and friends to experience the New River all the time.  There is nothing more serene than to float down the river sounded by nature, feeling the warmth of the sun,  seeing an occasional animal and listening to the birds.

I learned about the New River Conservancy a few years ago.  They work tirelessly to improve the quality of the New River.  The Conservancy provides education, sponsor river clean-ups and many other projects that improves the New River through 3 states.
