Springhouse: Small and Local, Open and Connected

At Springhouse, we care about regenerative culture, and we know that to create a culture that brings people alive, education must be redesigned in ways that take care of life and provide opportunities for people to experience the vitality within and around them.

Our school for regenerative culture builders is a strong, local example of the life-giving culture we all deeply long for. We share our design principles globally, inspiring many around the world from on-the-ground experience. 

Working as a mentor, facilitator and administrator at Springhouse brings me alive every day. Here are some of the inspiring things I experience daily at Springhouse:

Teens and adults who are... 

- Self-reflective and motivated to know themselves more deeply in order to be of clearer service. 

- Willing to cultivate presence and resiliency by tending to and listening to the wisdom of their bodies.

- Doing things outside their comfort zone to strengthen themselves. 

- Able to adapt to change and navigate ambiguity. 

- Excited to participate and grow in a beloved community. 

- Ready to take action toward creating a better world. 

- Willing to explore a regenerative relationship with the Earth. 

- Able to think beyond themselves and their own needs. 

These teens and adults inspire me and give me hope of a regenerative culture, one where individuals meet the emerging needs of the world.
