Women’s Caucus of VA Trial Lawyers Association

The Women’s Caucus of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association is meeting on March 26 and is sponsoring donations to New River Community Action at our convention.

New River Community Action is a non-profit agency working to address local conditions of poverty assisting our community’s most vulnerable residents including the homeless, ex-offenders, the disabled, and struggling young families.  

These services address services from basic needs such as food and shelter to comprehensive early childhood programs that promote school readiness, healthy families, and effective parenting.   

The focus of NRCA is not to only fulfill basic needs but build brighter futures.  NRCA helps over 9,000 individuals each year improve their lives by providing them essential services and life-changing opportunities through educational and case management support as well as accessing available affordable housing, food, health care, crisis assistance, and more.

Although NRCA Programs are supported by government funding, NRCA relies heavily on the community for donations to provide specific items to our struggling families and to enhance our program services and opportunities.
