Stage Stormers: Building Confidence, One Performance at a Time
At The June Bug Center, we believe theatre is more than lines on a page or songs on a stage. It’s about courage, creativity, and connection. Every semester, our theatre students take on the challenge of telling big stories—and every semester, they deliver knockout performances that leave our audiences in awe.
We’ve seen shy kids step into the spotlight and discover their voices. We’ve seen teens grow into leaders, taking responsibility for themselves and their castmates in ways that extend far beyond the stage. We’ve seen lifelong friendships formed in the wings and confidence bloom under the lights.
The truth is, the heart of American theatre isn’t on Broadway—it’s here in small community spaces like ours, where people gather not for a paycheck, but because they love the art. That’s why our program matters so deeply, and why it’s worth sustaining.
For 25 years, our theatre program has been a place where young people learn to take risks, to collaborate, and to believe in themselves. These are lessons that don’t fade when the curtain closes—they stay with our students through college, careers, and life.
Your donation to the Stage Stormers helps us keep that stage alive. It means costumes and scripts, yes, but it also means scholarships for kids who might not otherwise have the chance to perform. It means a safe space for self-expression and a community where everyone belongs.
When you give today, you’re not just funding a performance—you’re investing in the confidence and creativity of the next generation. And trust us: the show is always worth it.
