A recent loss of federal funding has placed our shelter and critical survivor services at risk. The Women’s Resource Center of the New River Valley provides emergency shelter, crisis response, counseling, legal advocacy, prevention education, and more for adults and children survivors of domestic and sexual violence. These life-saving services are available 24/7, and we need your help to continue this work.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 to keep our shelter and services fully operational.

Located in Radford, VA, the Women’s Resource Center is a non-profit, human service organization, providing free and confidential programs and services to adult and child victims of sexual and domestic violence. Since 1977, we’ve been providing hope and help to those who need it in the New River Valley. Our center, the oldest in Virginia, has been and will continue to be the cornerstone of courage and inspiration for thousands of people in our community.
