MY SPRINGHOUSE STORY
If we have spoken, then you would be familiar with the ways this community has colored my life since I was 15. I have had extraordinary experiences through Springhouse that have continued into my life now as a 22-year-old. From building a sailboat to providing a network of support for me and my family, there is not one facet of my life that is not touched by Springhouse.
If you have had me in a college classroom, then you would have encountered the ways Springhouse has given me a radical educational foundation to build my college education from. This place only continues to be a leader in transformative education, providing for young people and adults every year.
Since graduating in '22, I have incorporated the community values at Springhouse into my life. Most notably through my continued education at Berea College, where I am the student manager of the school's sexual health program and a student organizer in Berea College's United Campus Workers Union.

In this community, I am seen and encouraged to develop my self and leadership skills through continued relationships with various staff members. Here is Jenny Finn and I at a restorative justice conference last summer where we presented on Springhuse’s educational model.
Join me in supporting this place that continues to serve as a connection to life in the Floyd community and beyond. This is our one and only annual fundraiser that keeps the doors open for next year's learners.
Building Beloved Community for 11 Years in Floyd County and Beyond
Springhouse envisions a world where all life thrives. Through our intergenerational school and community print shop, we are committed to creating a culture that takes care of life, one person and one community at a time. At large, the culture we live in does not care for vulnerability. Now more than ever, we need places to practice taking better care of vulnerability and living in ways that are in greater alignment with life.
Springhouse is a place for anyone who wants to practice living in ways that take better care of life. Though their programs have fees, Springhouse is committed to accessibility – no one is turned away for financial reasons.
This work will take generations. Your gift allows Springhouse to continue offering accessible and equitable programs for all.

Every dollar makes a difference and is greatly
