The Y was an important part of my life while I was a student at Virginia Tech. As a volunteer I was given an opportunity to make a difference in the local community while also developing my leadership and life skills. 25 years after my graduation, I am amazed to see how the Y continues to impact our students and our local community - especially those that come from difficult life situations or have language barriers. This would not have been possible without support from community members such as you.
