I'm raising funds for InStill Mindfulness because I see every day the meaningful impact this organization is making in our community. InStill provides opportunities for people to develop mindfulness and contemplative practices, building resilience and fostering well-being.
Mindfulness isn't just about meditating. It's about expanding our individual capacity for compassionate awareness and presence so that we might live our most full, connected, and meaningful lives possible, together.
What I love about InStill is the commitment to taking mindfulness off the cushion—bringing compassionate awareness to those in our community who need it most and who face the greatest barriers to access in rural SWVA.
What does that look like in action?
It looks like creating the most accessible free or sliding-scale programs possible to meet people where they are. It means bringing mindfulness techniques into high-stress work environments through professional development trainings focused on self-care, stress management, and wellness. It means offering programs online or in hybrid formats to accommodate a wide range of needs. It means continually expanding and refining drop-in peer recovery and reentry support services at the InStill Center for Wellbeing in Pulaski.
InStill leads with a mindful approach to meeting real community needs.
That looks like hosting community holiday meals for our unhoused neighbors—ensuring everyone has a place to connect. It looks like advocating for and ensuring everyone has a voice at the table as we work together toward a thriving community. It looks like establishing the InStill Compassion Fund to support community members experiencing housing crises during dangerous weather conditions—offering care when it’s needed most.
If this work resonates with you, I hope you’ll consider supporting my fundraiser. Every contribution helps InStill continue working to cultivate a mindful world for ALL of us.
Together We Thrive
At InStill Mindfulness, we believe in the power of connection and compassion. Our Spring Thrive Drive: Together We Thrive is rooted in the idea that when we uplift those in need, we strengthen the entire community.
InStill moved to Pulaski two years ago and established the InStill Center for Wellbeing to do our part in helping this community thrive through our engaged mindfulness programs and recovery and reentry support services.
We welcome every person who walks through our doors with kindness, recognizing the potential that everyone has to make meaningful contributions to community.
Your gift allows InStill to continue offering accessible programs and services as we work to cultivate a mindful world for all.
Thank you.
