MY SPRINGHOUSE STORY

Hello, My name is Camilo. Thanks for looking at my Springhouse fundraiser! This has been my second year at Springhouse. This year I am now one of the older students, this is asking that I take more responsibility in the community. Navigating my extended expectations this year has had difficult moments, but is overall very rewarding. I have really loved my time at Springhouse this year, and would love if you could donate to my fundraiser. I think that Springhouse and similar programs are vital to building close-nit community, and helping solve the large divide in our culture.

Building Beloved Community for 11 Years in Floyd County and Beyond

Springhouse envisions a world where all life thrives. Through our intergenerational school and community print shop, we are committed to creating a culture that takes care of life, one person and one community at a time. At large, the culture we live in does not care for vulnerability. Now more than ever, we need places to practice taking better care of vulnerability and living in ways that are in greater alignment with life. 

Springhouse is a place for anyone who wants to practice living in ways that take better care of life. Though their programs have fees, Springhouse is committed to accessibility – no one is turned away for financial reasons.
