Every day at Springhouse I experience something that cannot be solely expressed in words. It is deeper than connection, bigger than individuals, and stronger than community; it is vitality, the life force in us all. As Martha Graham put it, ‘There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium; and be lost.’ 

Springhouse has awakened me to my own vitality and the vitality in others. I have had life-changing experiences because of this community and will tell the story of Springhouse, my story until I no longer live.
