Chuck's Springhouse Fundraiser

For ten years, I have worked with many people around the world developing learning environments in which the leaders and the learners can maintain their wholeness while developing their agency - their ability to be positive actors in the world. 

I so appreciate that Springhouse is actually doing that work, focused on vitality, in rural Virginia and serving underserved students, many of whom cannot afford tuition. Springhouse is a very unique intergenerational learning environment. 

So, I have been happy to fundraise for Springhouse for the last three years. I have seen the transformation of students attending Springhouse when they realize the power and hope of being in an authentic community where they can be vulnerable and grow into the people they are meant to be.

Through our intergenerational school and community print shop, we are committed to creating a culture that takes care of life, one person and one community at a time. At large, the culture we live in does not care for vulnerability. Now more than ever, we need places to practice taking better care of vulnerability and living in ways that are in greater alignment with life. 

Springhouse is a place for anyone who wants to practice living in ways that take better care of life. Though their programs have fees, Springhouse is committed to accessibility – no one is turned away for financial reasons.
