Life is a Gift. Let's Take Care of It.

The first time I visited Springhouse, I left energized and excited.

The second time I visited Springhouse, I left with despair and longing.

Such is the power of a place and people that produces and dances with the rawest form of Life's energy. You fall in love and you long for it when you are away.

In a time where loneliness, disconnection, and distrust seem to be the soup du jour, Springhouse is cooking up something different using five key ingredients:

• Taking care of vulnerability
• Cultivating personhood
• Building beloved community
• Learning from the earth
• Loving and serving others

This ancient recipe "invites life back in where it has been excluded in a person, community, or place."

It's a recipe I want myself and the people I love to get good at cooking. And, to know there is a place like Springhouse where more and more people are learning to cook it as well, gives me so much hope for what the future might entail.

Now for the "ask."

Springhouse needs to raise $100,000 this June in order to meet their operational budget this year. For every $1 donated to my personal fundraiser, I will be matching up to $1,000.
