Life is the school, love is the lesson and relationships are assignments designed to further us into learning to live in a deeper state of love.

Hey there! I'm Carolyn!
I am a passionate student of Life - have been since I was a young kiddo, sitting in a dogwood tree, gazing up through the branches and feeling sunlight warm my body. My life has been a full journey of learning - not through the typical institutions. My education has been centered on learning how to better love and align with life.
I’m continuing to learn what it means to love more fully and with great grace in this life. One thing (there are so many!) that I'm grateful for about Springhouse is that we're a community that doesn’t shy away from the hard stuff, the deep stuff, and all the places in between as we choose to engage with what Life brings forward with LOVE and great care.
Because of Springhouse, I am learning how to better love
the earth
the sacred
myself
my four children
my husband
my parents
family
friends
others who are different from me
our local community
our world
LIFE!

I’m not loving or living perfectly… that’s not my goal. What I am doing is practicing, one-day-at-a-time, to take care of the preciousness of this one life that is right now, right here. What a gift to not do it alone. Please help Springhouse continue in our courageous work of building beloved community, creating safe spaces for all.
With great love,
❤️ Carolyn ❤️
Hello there, my name is Arlo Reilly. I use he/him pronouns and I am 15 years old. This school means a lot to me in more ways than I can count. This community has helped me grow and change in ways I could never imagine and it is a wonderful feeling to know that I have a place I can fall back to.
I have been at Springhouse for the last 4 years and within that time I have had many opportunities to learn more about myself and others around me. At school we have mentors who are the staff but you get personal time with them to talk about how things are going. Mentors have been very helpful for me since my mentor, Sarah P, has been working with me since my start here in 2021. She has been helping me push or find my limits to do hard things in order to grow. She has also helped me a lot with:
- asking for help when I need it
- being able to trust and communicate with the people in our community
- and helping me work on my boundaries with people
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! It would be very meaningful for me, and my community, if you donate to my school.
