Ian Stabler is Tending the Spring

Thank you so much for considering donating to Springhouse. It is a beautiful place, deeply committed to its mission of envisioning, practicing, and sharing ways of living that contribute to a world where all life thrives. 

What I love most about this mission is that it uses the word practicing, not perfecting, or living fully, but practicing. This pushes us to consistently challenge our ways of living towards alignment. This is so difficult in practice, but I think necessary if we are actually going to design something different from the broken system we inherited and is deeply ingrained in how we were raised and educated. 

I believe this sort of root-level reenvisioning and creation is necessary right now, and I am grateful to be a part of a community that takes it on as a serious and sacred duty. 

This June, Springhouse is raising $120,000 to sustain the staff, the land, and the practices that keep this community alive, and to support what's next, including working with the land and creativity to grow food and make art, attuning to the seasons year round.
