Amber Class - Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Team Amber (7-9 years): Community Champions

Our Amber students are learning what it means to be true champions in their community. This fall, they're experiencing the magic of learning together as they explore autumn-themed vocabulary, craft heartfelt letters to friends and neighbors, and tackle increasingly complex mathematics from skip counting to word problems. Whether they're sharing beloved books during Bookshare, presenting science discoveries as Kid Scientists, collaborating with their Jade neighbors on creative writing projects, or visiting Spikenard Farm & Honeybee Sanctuary for their monthly fieldtrips, these students understand that success comes from both hard work and having people who support you.

From peer reading groups to writing buddies to imaginative Halloween projects, our Ambers are discovering daily that the best learning happens when diverse minds come together. Through Neighbors Helping Neighbors, our Amber classes champion expanding scholarship opportunities because they recognize the value of learning alongside classmates who bring different perspectives and talents to our school community. We're committed to ensuring that every motivated student has the chance to grow, learn, and succeed together with us.
