The Reillys and Werners are Tending the Spring

Springhouse has shaped our entire family. 

My parents, Dave & Betty, have found something here worth serving and caring for. 

My husband and I have grown in ways we didn't expect, both as parents and partners. 

And our children, from their teen years into young adulthood, have come of age in a community that takes them seriously and invites authenticity as well as challenge.

For me personally, Springhouse is a place where I've learned what it means to keep growing, not just as a staff member or parent, but as a person in a community. Springhouse puts the power of LIFE at the center, while not shying away from reality. That commitment runs through everything we do from how we engage with our own holistic development together as staff, to the ways we care for and steward this intergenerational community, Springhouse is consistent in bringing forth offerings that are vital and accessible.

I believe in this community because I trust the depth and foundational truths of our living organization AND I continue to witness myself and my family being changed by it.  Please give this June…Every gift helps keep the spring flowing!

Hello there, my name is Arlo, I have been attending Springhouse for 5 years. 

Springhouse is a safe space, we  practice a very community centered approach and intergenerational learning. Springhouse makes it possible for students, staff, and other community members to find who they are, and a chance and the necessary space needed to be able to explore different areas and parts of themselves - all while having a safety net of peers and staff and friends. Springhouse has had many classes to show what is really going on in the world and how it may be affecting life and people, while making sure to find the source of information and fact checking along the way. 

Springhouse has created an environment where people can feel comfortable but we also like to push people to go outside their comfort zone and grow. Donating would help keep this wonderful place running and help teenagers have a space for them to be themselves. Thank you for reading!  -Arlo
