Through our GiveLocalNRV initiative, The Community Foundation of the New River Valley brings together nonprofits, donors, volunteers, and local businesses to support our community. Organizations that serve the NRV can use this platform year-round to raise funds and awareness for their organizations.
The signature event for the GiveLocalNRV initiative is our annual Giving Day, held each June. Since 2014, the event has raised more than $4.35 million from thousands of donors for dozens of wonderful causes. Our 2025 giving day will be held from noon on Wednesday, June 25 to noon on Thursday, June 26.

Donors
Support your favorite New River Valley causes with a donation of $5 or more! Early giving began on June 1 and donations will be accepted until noon on June 26.
The CFNRV and our generous partners are offering $25,000 incentive grants and prizes for participating nonprofits, so your donation has the power to go farther now than it might at other times of the year!
